2012 a mix of both

From experiance (of observing others) I can see that adwords is probably the best if you know what you're doing [where I work at the moment pays far less for a top spot ad than the second place ad pays for it's position, but when the ad is in position 3 it gets the best CTR]

The market also has an influence - the preference of SE that your target audience use. I don't yet know what type of people use which engine but from figures and stats i've seen over the few years I've been in internet marketing show me that people with widely differing interests and lifestyles use different search engines.

I do use Google AdWords for most PPC campaigns. The reason is, it is most popular, has the - by far - largest distribution range and it is VERY FAST to use. From the idea for a new campaign to have it running there are just a few minutes. If you ever used Yahoo (Overture) you know it is damn sloooow.

Another reason for using AdWords is, you CAN get lower click prices as you are allowed to start as low as 1 cent only. This really is a great advantage. a disadvantage of AdWords is that due to highest competition for almost any keyword, real click prices are much higher. But still it is doable.

This especially comes into effect when running dedicated AdWords Content Network campaigns. Very often you can get clicks for 6 cents and below here, still with acceptable visibility.

Nevertheless, I tend using Yahoo Search Marketing (Overture) and other smaller PPC networks as well as they are a good thing to go to further markets and customers, sometimes at low price and with less competition. But it is WORK. Google did a good job at making the use of AdWords so fast and easy. That's a main reason why they grew so popular.

Guess it will be interesting to watch this forum thread about PPC to learn other peoples ideas and what they tend to do Pandora Bracelets Cheap in regards to PPC advertising.

Yahoo:

> far greater revenue per click

So with that said I use a mix of both. (NOTE: Pacharms-jewelry you can't use both on the same PAGE, but you can use both on the same SITE)

When it is crucial that the ads be extremely relevant to the price content on a page I used Googlebecause that's the only   http://pacharms-jewelry.us people click on the ads

like everything else it just takes some patience and testing. Simply adding some code to your site and expecting it to bring in big   http://www.pacharms-jewelry.com bucks may not work all that well. Finding out which PPC program to go with is simply step 1 in the multi step PPC optimization journey anyone displaying ads should head down.
